Soothing Amethyst Meditation

Hey there! I've been needing to take time for calming the mind and want to share this soothing amethyst meditation with you. You can do this alone or with others but make sure the space is cleansed, relaxing, and you feel safe. If you have any Amethyst crystals or jewelry, bring them along with you. We are going to amplify the purple aura of Amethyst with this meditation. This requires you to tap into your imagination! 

First if you have not already, clear and cleanse your space with actual smoke from herbs or incense or imagine a cleansing smoke moving through all corners of the room. You could also imagine a soft rain or flowing creek to cleanse your space. The idea is to generally clear the air so you can make it your own and fill it with new energy. 

Once you've cleared your space, find where you're going to sit, lay or stretch during this meditation. Now repeat the same cleansing process with any crystals or jewelry you'll be working with. Move your gems through smoke or water. You can do this physically or in your mind, while affirming the clearing and cleansing of its energies.

To add another element of  calm to your senses during this meditation use Lavender. You can use lavender essential oil on yourself and crystals or steep some lavender tea to fill your space with a fresh cleansing scent. These little flowers are helpful in keeping pests away and smell incredible even just steeping in hot water or dried, added to a cloth bag and held close to the nose. Ahhhh, just imagining this is making me feel more relaxed.

Now that your space and gems are cleared of any stagnate, old or trapped energies and vibrations it's time to ground yourself. Find your space in your room or area then get comfortable. You can sit, lay, stretch, or arrange yourself in any position that makes you feel calm. Present your gems before yourself, around you, or place on your body. Personally for Amethyst and most meditations I practice, I place gemstones on my forehead. You will begin to connect with your stones. The time is now. 

​Close your eyes. 
Begin by focusing on your breathing. 
In & Out. 
Relax all of your body, 
Release any tension within as you breathe.


When you feel focused - imagine a purple orb of light above your head, in your hands, or within your mind. 
Once your orb of purple light is strong imagine it inside your chest.
You can also place it with your hand.
Softly press your hand on your chest while imagining the purple light within. 

Once your chest is glowing with purple light imagine the light filling your head, heart, trunk, and legs all the way down to your feet. You are full of amethyst light and glowing through out your being. Rest here for a moment. Focus again on your breath. Inhale for four seconds, hold for four seconds, then exhale for four seconds and hold again for four seconds. Repeat this breathing pattern four times while focusing on your inner purple light and strengthening its glow. 

Allow the soothing energies of amethyst to calm and relax your being.
Pumping through your veins. 
Healing all your bones, organs, & being. 
You are enough. 

Now we are going to extend this purple light to our exterior.
Focus on your whole body glowing with purple light. 
Imagine another, new orb of purple light above your head or in your hands. 
Hold your orb. 
Slowly imagine your orb growing in size as you move your hands gradually more apart. 
When your hands and arms are fully extended your orb will be large enough for your being to fit inside.
Relax your arms while you remain within your purple aura. 

You are enough. 
Again focus on your breathing. 
Inhale for four seconds, hold for four, exhale for four seconds, then hold for four. 
Do this four times again while resting in your new purple home. 

Affirm: 
I am calm.
I am relaxed. 
I have plenty of time. 
I will accomplish my goals. 
I have a plan. 

I am safe in this space.
I am protected by my own light. 
I can calmly accomplish any task.
I am enough. 

​Add any affirmations here that you'd like to speak or think into existence. 
Focus on your breathing.
Open your eyes. 
Feel how you've filled the space with new energy. 
Feel free to light a candle and journal at this time.
