A Bit About The Transmutation Collection

Welcome to the Transmutation Collection by Citrine Tangerine.  This collection was released on the Fall Equinox to honor the change of season. I broke the entire collection into phases, for continuous release and to give each piece a little extra time to be appreciated.

This collection is based on the action of personal Transmutation. I invite you to set intentions that manifest through transformative action leading to personal growth. Lets plant some new seeds, nurture our already budding ideas and honor this great seasonal change.

Smokey Quartz is the feature stone of this collection for two reasons; its healing energies and its color range. (I made a crystal reading on Smokey Quartz from The Book Of Stones available on Youtube)

As you may know, gemstones are millions of years old, holding ancient wisdom and healing properties as well. It is proven that nature heals us and gemstones are an impressive part of nature. Meditations and affirmations are proven to improve our health and have been bonded with crystals for hundreds of years. Their crystal forms are sacred. It’s no wonder we collect and adorn ourselves with them.

When I dove into the healing properties of Smokey Quartz, I  knew as a collective, we needed more of this stone in our lives. Here’s a short write up from what I read in The Book Of Stones:

Smokey Quartz is a premier grounding stone. It can help even the spaciest of individuals find their ‘land legs’. It is one of the most powerful grounding and clearing stones. Like the smoke from a sage bundle, the energy of Smokey Quartz cleanses and clears the aura and energetic systems. It enables negative energies to be clarified so they may become usable and healthy once again.

Spirit Smokey Quartz is a spiritual grounding stone, helping one to receive and utilize more high frequency energy. It assists one in aligning the physical body with an expanded range of light frequencies and is both purifying and protective.

Emotion  Smokey Quartz is a wonderful friend for those who resist being embodied. It can help one feel more engaged in the world and capable of creating or changing one’s reality.

Physical  Smokey Quartz is best used to counter the negative effects of radiation, including sunburn, exposure to radioactive materials, medical radiation therapy, and exposure to focused electromagnetic fields.”

You can see it cleanses, purifies, grounds, and removes negative or toxic energy from the aura, clearing the room and transmutes into a productive, organized and uplifting energy. This is a powerful action for a gemstone to assist us with. It literally encourages us to take the higher route. It reminds us of the brighter side and can even take us out of our most depressive mental states. 

Smokey Quartz coloring ranges from soft gray to deep black. You can also get smokey versions of most quartz variety crystals such as amethyst and citrine. Gray scale is a fantastic way to amplify color in any visual works. I used this to play with colorful gemstones with smokey quartz as their spotlight counter part. Who doesn’t love a vibrant pop of color?  Most of the Smokey Quartz beads in this collection are middle gray but the shapes and textures of the beads vary. Some of them are raw chunks, others highly polished, but all are about the same tone of gray.

It is my intention to connect you with a powerful and abundant stone that can help us transmute into our best selves by clearing the air of any bad energies. What does transmutation mean? This word was brought to my  attention by Smokey Quartz. It has a few contexts but the concept is always the same. Transmutation ‘is the action of changing or the state of being changed into another form.’ In physics this is done by nuclear bombardment or radioactive decay. In history and biology it’s the conversion or transformation of one species into another. There is also reference to transmutation in alchemy.

The concept is similar with intention setting, although we are not being bombarded by nuclear physics or changing from one human into another per-say, we have the ability to change and transform our bodies, minds, and paths in life by our actions. We can with a bit practicality, organization, cleansing, and protection, achieve our goals, dreams and aspirations.  Smokey Quartz can be the reminder we all need to accomplish gigantic tasks! We can change. We can be leaders. But we have to LEAD by example and not follow in the footsteps of those who predate us. The gemstones can inspire us to go beyond what our human environment has to offer when we tap into their frequencies.
